> A structured, sourced guide to China's Grade III-A hospitals for international patients. Every hospital profile carries a source link and the date it was checked; where a fact could not be confirmed from a public source it is left blank rather than estimated.

**Scope.** Grade III-A (三甲) and above hospitals in tier-1, new-tier-1 and tier-2 Chinese cities only. This site organises publicly published information; it does not give medical advice, rank hospitals by clinical quality, or arrange appointments.

The questions below are the ones this site holds sourced answers to. A question it cannot answer is not answered here in a plausible-sounding way, and the list that follows says which is which.

## What this site does not answer

The list above is what this site holds sourced answers to. This is what it will not answer, and a question that falls outside it is left unanswered rather than answered plausibly.

- **We do not publish a quality ranking of hospitals, and we do not tell you which hospital to attend for your condition.** We publish which Grade III-A hospitals cover a specialty, which of them run a dedicated international department, and what each one publishes about itself. Choosing between them is the reader's decision, not this site's. (See "A note on ranking" below.)
- **We do not give medical advice**, diagnose a condition, or say whether a treatment is right for you. We publish what a hospital says about itself; where the hospital's own pages do not say something, we leave it out rather than fill the gap.
- **We do not arrange appointments**, and we are not a medical travel agency. Nothing here books a consultation, a surgery, an interpreter, or an escort.
- **We do not sell or broker insurance**, and we do not recommend a particular insurer, clinic, treatment package, or companion service. Where a page tells you what to ask a hospital about direct billing, it is telling you what to ask -- not who to ask.
- **We do not take payment, sponsorship, or advertising from hospitals.** No hospital can pay to appear, to be listed, or to change what is published about it.
- **We do not publish a clinician as confirmed for international patients unless the hospital's own international-side page names that person.** A clinician with no profile is not evidence of anything.

## International departments

The site defines "has an international department" narrowly: a NAMED 国际部 / 国际医疗中心 / International Medical Center that appears on an official page. It is not "serves foreign patients", and not "has an English website" -- a hospital with an English site and no named unit is recorded as having none.

Each hospital carries one of three findings, and its page says which, with the date the hospital's own site was read and a link to the page the finding rests on:

- **yes** (50 hospitals) -- a named unit was found on an official page. The unit's own contact details are recorded.
- **no** (54 hospitals) -- the hospital's own department index was read and names no such unit. This is a finding, not a gap, and it does not mean the hospital refuses foreign patients: it means there is no formal international unit published for a patient to be sent to. A reader would arrange translation, scheduling and payment themselves.
- **unverified** (17 hospitals) -- the page where the hospital lists its departments could not be read from here, through a WAF challenge, an unreachable address, or a site that renders only in a browser. These are NOT recorded as having no international department, because that is not what we know.
