What is in the database today, and what is not
We would rather tell you this on the pricing page than have you discover it after paying. Coverage is being built city by city, and two parts of the database are still empty.

- Every hospital profile — overview, specialties, strengths, reputation rankings with attribution, international-department contacts, and patient logistics. Department-by-department listings, published procedure prices from official municipal schedules, and national cost benchmarks from the health commission.
- Not yet available
- Hospital-specific cost quotes. International departments set their own prices and China publishes no international-department price list at national, provincial or hospital level — we have checked, and the reason is documented. A written quotation is the only reliable figure, which is why the international department contacts on each hospital page matter more than any number we could print.
Named consultants are part of the subscription, and the reason is worth stating plainly: this used to read the other way round, arguing that a doctor's name is the one thing you cannot put behind a paywall. With 623 named clinicians that no longer held — a free visitor could take the most actionable fact on the site for nothing. The roster is now the thing you are paying for, and the free tier is the hospital's basic introduction, which is what the next section lists.

How we decide what to include
Every figure on this site is either attributed to the source that published it, or labelled as our judgement. We publish our methodology in full, including which numbers we refuse to state and why — a "number one hospital in China", an international-department price list, and a private-to-public ward multiplier are all things we looked for and could not source.

- Sourced rankings, honestly labelled. China's leading reputation ranking assigns letter grades rather than first, second and third place, and states that hospitals sharing a grade are not ordered. We show you that nuance instead of inventing a "#1 hospital".
- International departments verified per hospital. There is no national registry of which Chinese hospitals run one. Each profile here is checked individually, and where we could not confirm, we say so.
- Costs with provenance. Every figure carries its source and the date we confirmed it. We flag stale data rather than quietly showing an old number as current.
- Answer to the question that actually matters: not "which hospital is best" but "which of these treats your condition, and what it will really cost."
How we are funded
How this site is funded: subscriptions only. We do not accept payment, sponsorship, advertising or any other consideration from hospitals, and no hospital can pay to appear, to be ranked, or to change what we publish about it. Every rate on this page is the rate. If a hospital ever paid us, that would be a change in what this site is, and we would say so on this page and in our methodology.
Prices in USD. Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we never store your card details. Cancel any time — annual and monthly subscriptions end at the close of the paid period, with no partial refunds. Lifetime access is permanent and includes all future data updates.
