Terms of Use
The agreement covering your use of this site — what it provides, what it does not, and what each of us is responsible for.
Effective 2026-10-25
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. They apply to every visitor, whether or not you pay.
2. What this site is
This site publishes structured, sourced information about hospitals in China, written for people outside China who are researching where to seek care. It is an information service. It is not a healthcare provider, not a booking service, and not an agency.
- We do not give medical advice, diagnosis, triage or a recommendation about which hospital is right for you.
- We do not arrange appointments, visas, travel, accommodation or interpretation.
- We do not act for you in contact with a hospital.
- We do not collect or store medical records, scans or test results.
The medical boundary is set out separately and in more detail on the medical information disclaimer. It is not a formality; it is the main thing this page exists to say.
3. What the content is, and is not
Every fact on this site is drawn from a public source and carries a link to it and, where we can, the date it was checked. Hospitals change their own published information — a clinic closes, a phone number changes, a fee schedule is revised. Our copy can therefore be out of date even when it was correct on the day it was written.
- Nothing on this site is a contract with, or on behalf of, any hospital. A hospital is not bound by anything written here.
- Where we could not confirm something from a public source, we say so rather than fill the gap. A blank field is deliberate.
- Where an English name, department name or description is our own translation rather than the hospital’s own wording, it is marked as ours.
- Figures are shown in your currency for convenience, with the renminbi figure alongside. The conversion is an estimate at a dated rate, not a quote.
Verify before you rely on it. Contact the hospital directly using the official contact details we link to, before making travel plans, sending records or committing money.
4. Accounts
- You need an account to save hospitals, to keep a research project, or to buy.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including its password.
- One account per reader. Bulk or shared accounts are not permitted.
- You can close your account at any time. Closing it ends access but does not by itself entitle you to a refund for time already used.
5. What you may and may not do with this site
You may read, print and share the pages for your own research.
- Do not republish the paid content — the full profiles, the comparison reports or the bulk data — as your own product or service.
- Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others.
- Do not present our information as a clinical or commercial ranking of hospitals.
- Do not attempt to access another reader’s account, saved hospitals or purchases.
- Do not use the site to break the law of the place you are in.
Quoting a fact with its source link and an attribution is fine. Reproducing the structure of the database is not.
6. Paid access
Some material is free to read and some is behind a plan. What each plan includes is set out on the pricing page, and it is the plan list at the moment you buy that governs — not a promise of what a future plan will contain.
- A plan grants access to the site. It does not purchase anything from any hospital, and it confers no privilege, appointment or relationship with any hospital.
- Plans renew automatically unless cancelled. The renewal date and the cancellation route are shown on your billing page.
- We may add, change or withdraw content as the underlying public information changes. Plan holders keep access to what has been removed from the site only if it was already purchased as a permanent item.
Refunds, cancellations and what happens when a subscription lapses are set out in the refund and access rules.
7. No medical advice, and no relationship of care
Reading this site, subscribing to it, or paying for it creates no doctor–patient, clinician–patient or advisory relationship of any kind. Nothing here substitutes for a consultation, and nothing here is a substitute for emergency care.
8. What we are responsible for
We take care to publish accurate, sourced information and to correct it when we get it wrong — you can see the corrections we have made on our methodology page. We do not guarantee that the information is complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose.
- We are not liable for a decision you make because of this site, or for a hospital’s own conduct, availability, pricing or treatment.
- We are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you bought the plan, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.
9. If these terms change
If a change materially affects what you have paid for, we will tell you before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page is the version you are reading; earlier versions are available on request.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China and the courts of the People's Republic of China, and disputes will be heard there.
