Tianjin Medical University General Hospital

Tianjin Medical University General Hospital is the university's principal clinical teaching hospital, opened in December 1946 as Tianjin Central Hospital on the site of the former Japanese foreign-settlement hospital at 123 Anshan Road. It is reported to have been rated Tianjin's first Grade III-A hospital, on 15 July 1993.

It holds four national key disciplines, is a designated National Stroke Centre and National Cancer Centre, and is reported strong in neurosurgery — including complex brain tumours and vascular malformations — endocrinology and general surgery.

Its International Diagnosis and Treatment Centre (国际诊疗中心) is confirmed on the hospital's own patient-guide pages, with a published care pathway, international specialist-clinic service information and a booking pathway.
