Peking University Shenzhen Hospital

Opened in August 1999 as Shenzhen Central Hospital, and renamed in 2001 following a cooperation agreement with Peking University — described by the hospital as the first hospital–university tightly-cooperative medical management model in China. It achieved Grade III-A on 9 August 2011, one of the few entries in the sources we hold backed directly by a provincial government designation document rather than secondary sources.

Its International Medical Department Special Clinic (国际医疗部特诊门诊) has operated since the hospital opened in August 1999 — one of the longest-running international departments in China. The hospital is officially designated as a medical service provider for foreign nationals and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan compatriots, and also serves as a telemedicine service point and a national remote medicine collaboration site for Shenzhen.

Before you rely on this: Registration is fully appointment-only and no extra-slot requests are honoured. The booking horizon is 7 days. A ticket for a booked slot stays collectable at the hospital's kiosk if you are up to half an hour late, but that lateness is recorded as one no-show, and the booking is void once you are more than half an hour late. Separately, the hospital's rule is a temperature of 37.3 °C or above, not above it: at that reading the fever clinic takes you instead of the clinic you booked.
