Fudan University Institute of Hospital Management (复旦大学医院管理研究所) specialty reputation ranking. Note that Fudan's whole-hospital list assigns letter grades (A++++–A) and explicitly does not order hospitals sharing the same grade.
Fudan states that its ranking's content and data may not be reproduced or cited by any website, media organisation or individual without the institute's written consent. We have not obtained that consent. This site reports individual ranking facts with attribution and a back-link rather than reproducing any table, but whether per-fact citation with attribution falls inside the notice is not settled — we are disclosing the constraint rather than claiming compliance with it.

中山大学附属第一医院 · Guangzhou
Sun Yat-sen University
The hospital's own page for this department (运动医学科) is an outpatient rota rather than a description of the department, and it carries no introduction to the specialty. What it does carry is the roster: Professor Wu Peihui (邬培慧) in sports medicine as a chief physician, and Associate Chief Physician Mao Guping (毛谷平) in sports medicine, with the clinic columns marked as a special clinic and an expert clinic.

It says that after 65 years the institute now covers 4 directions — sports trauma, sports rehabilitation, sports nutrition and medical supervision — with 4 clinical sub-specialties (knee, hip, shoulder and elbow, foot and ankle surgery) and, within them, 10 clinical platforms and 5 teaching and research platforms.

Beijing Chao-Yang Hospital
Intl dept首都医科大学附属北京朝阳医院 · Beijing
Capital Medical University (首都医科大学) — its third clinical medical college
The hospital's own page says the department (运动医学外科/康复医学科) is characterised by assessment of sports injuries, minimally invasive surgery and the whole course of sports rehabilitation, and that it works to the idea of treating a sports injury along the full conservative, surgical and rehabilitation route, from Beijing, for people across the country affected by sports injuries, for sports enthusiasts and for professional athletes, national teams, provincial and municipal teams and clubs. The page's own text is cut off mid-sentence at the word for clubs, so the list of the organisations it serves is not complete on the page.

Ward and room rates
Published daily rates for an inpatient stay, wherever the patient is admitted. In Chinese hospitals the multiplier is ward class, not privacy: a higher-grade ward costs many times more than a general one, while a single room costs only a little more than a shared one.
- / dayGeneral ward bed¥50
- / dayThree-bed room¥60
- / dayIntensive care unit bed¥60
- / daySingle room¥80
- / dayISO-7 cleanroom bed¥300
- / daySpecial protective ward bed¥1,100
Published daily rates. The spread across room types is small — a single room costs ¥30 more than a shared one — while the spread across ward classes is 22 times. The multiplier in a Chinese hospital is ward class, not privacy.
| Item | Published price |
|---|---|
General ward bed Ward rate · Standard public ward | $7/ day¥50 |
Three-bed room Ward rate · Standard public ward A three-bed room costs only ¥20/day more than a general bed, and a single room only ¥30 more. The room-type spread in China is small — it is ward class, not privacy, that drives cost. | $9/ day¥60 |
Single room Ward rate · Standard public ward Paying for a single room in China is a cheap proposition. Paying for a higher-grade ward is not — see the special protective ward figure, which is 22× the general ward. | $12/ day¥80 |
Intensive care unit bed Ward rate · Standard public ward | $9/ day¥60 |
ISO-7 cleanroom bed Ward rate · Standard public ward Used for transplant and other protected-ward protocols. | $45/ day¥300 |
Special protective ward bed Ward rate · Special protective ward 22× the general ward rate. This is the single best-sourced illustration of what drives cost in Chinese hospitals, and the reason a patient should ask about ward class rather than room type. | $164/ day¥1,100 |
